Lake Area Corn Processors, LLC owns Dakota Ethanol, LLC in its entirety. Located in Wentworth, South Dakota, Lake Area Corn Processors, LLC is comprised of over 1,000 investor partners from throughout the United States. Dakota Ethanol, LLC produces approximately 48 million gallons of ethanol annually from 17 million bushels of locally grown corn.

In addition to ethanol production, Dakota Ethanol, LLC also produces a valuable high quality livestock feed for local, regional, national and export markets. Dakota Ethanol, LLC has operated well above the 40 million nameplate capacity since beginning operations in September 2001.  Dakota Ethanol, LLC employees 38 full time employees and has a large impact on the local economy as well as providing economic impact to the local agricultural industry through the purchase of corn and the sale of high quality livestock feed.

• Minimum Sale or Purchase: 500 Shares
• Incremental Sale or Purchase: 500 Shares
• The Seller will be required to pay Variable Investment Advisors, Inc. a fee of two percent (2%) of the gross sales price or a minimum fee per transaction being one hundred ($100.00) dollars and maximum fee per transaction being seven hundred and fifty ($750.00) dollars, to be paid out of the Sellers proceeds at the time of closing.

  • January, February and March Matches effective no sooner than April 1^st
  • April, May and June Matches effective no sooner that July 1^st
  • July, August and September Matches effective no sooner than October 1^st
  • October, November and December Matches effective no sooner than January 1^st
• Matches can not transfer to new owner prior to 45 days after they have been posted
